Is this your next step?

You want to reduce the risk of uncontrolled snow sliding off the roof.

We install snow guards on new and existing roofs. Positioning, the number of rows and fixings must be designed for the roof’s shape, slope, structure and local snow conditions. Entrances, paths and areas below are part of the planning.

What can the installation include?

Snow guards at the eaves

Tube or grille systems to help control sliding snow.

Snow hooks & ice stops

Complementary components selected for the roof’s geometry and needs.

Fixings & positioning

Design of rows and fixings for the roof and local snow conditions.

Areas needing protection

Which entrances, paths and other areas below the roof need protection from sliding snow?

Roof & fixings

The substrate, waterproofing and existing installations need to be assessed before the installation plan is finalised.

System & use

Scope, products and documentation are agreed for the property. Inspection and maintenance are planned according to the selected system’s instructions.

Questions about the work

Do snow guards replace roof snow removal?

No. Snow guards help control sliding snow but do not remove its weight. Snow may need to be removed where there is a risk of overloading. Snow hooks and ice stops are complementary measures, not an automatic substitute for a designed snow-guard system.
